Huh, is it really alone? Poor thing.

Reminds me, we need to pick up some more nesting boxes for the orchard…

I know very little about birds, but it's nice having an app like that to learn, and if I see something I haven't heard/seen before, it feels nice. :)

Oh, I picked up one of those last year, but I wondered if the app was hallucinating 😄

It’s a great app! I also use it just to scan what the hell is going on sometimes, or if I’m hearing something I can’t recall hearing before. 👍

Oh, from yesterday. Great tits are loud little buggers, aren’t they?
I’m sure this post will get blocked for some reason 😜

I think on that one I can unscrew the buckle, cut the belt, punch a new hole on that end and reattach the buckle to make it shorter. But I’m kinda proud of the buckle marks on the five holes that track my shrinking waistline 😂 It’s good thick leather too!

I’ve got 3. One “good” one for occasions, one that’s always in whatever pair of jeans I’m wearing, & one for the dirty work trousers (I use those 2 every day). As I’ve lost weight & my regular belt is now on the smallest holes I wanted to get a new one, but my wife says to punch a new hole. 🤔

Right back at ya.

Oh! And instead of a red kite, today there’s a kestrel perching at the Orchard. And he let me take a photo! #tinyjoys

Drank some pre-releases from both makers, plus we were put to work with some analysis & blending.
We’re all small makers in a tough market. It’s hard selling real artisanal cider in Germany when there are cheap industrial products spamming the supermarket shelves, so we need to support each other.

So, let’s take a look back to November 2023, & a topic that keeps raising its head: the myth that Napoleon said that Perry was the Champagne of the English. Apocryphally, he said similar things about Berliner Weiße, but that might have been a later version of Napoleon, and more likely his soldiers.
Perry, Napoleon and a trio from Little Pomona
Just come runner up at Waterloo and after something to drown your sorrows? We’ve got you covered.

Yeah, I have a couple solar analogue watches (the G is one) and really like that I don’t have to change batteries or wind. Just works. Though I also like my purely mechanical watch that just comes out as a dress watch 😄

My sister and mother both have Fitbits and are happy with them.

I’ve been returning to the Garmin Instinct 3 solar, as it looks similar to my everyday G-Shock banger. Though I think that doesn’t do ECG.

I always wear a watch. Don’t like taking the phone out just for the time, but I also like watches 😄 The phone kinda tracks steps, which I do use (14,730 yesterday), but not sure how accurate it is. But interested in tracking my heart during excercise and monitoring my shitty sleep.
