news article reports 'British parts found in Russian drones, Zelensky says' and it's like the we're surprised that we perpetuate wars to keep money flowing through our broken economies

I will die on the hill that Lost wrapped up pretty much all of its story pretty neatly, and that a significant proportion of the people who watched it didn't understand the ending.

All endings reached in Silksong 🙌 96% completion, happy to call it there without turning it into a grind for items. Such a fun time with it - thought I was starting to be aged out of ‘tough’ games, but loved it.

Just got round to reading @mattthr.bsky.social ‘s piece on Lovecraft in boardgames for @senetmagazine.bsky.social and it was excellently done. Senet keeps on being such a great place for long-form pieces like this.

Our chief executive took to the stage at the #StandUpToRacism demonstration on 13 September to make it clear that the fight for racial justice, for climate justice and for economic justice is one and the same. And it’s a fight we can only win together. @standuptoracismuk.bsky.social

I moved to Bristol last month and it’s hard to stress how magical a place it feels. So may unique sights around it all. You turn a corner and could be in a completely difference city, a rural town, a European village. Such a beautiful city.
Arnos Vale Cemetery, a shot showing thick greenery around a concrete path, graves dotted through the overgrown shrubs. A blue sky is streaked with thin clouds. A wet cobbled street after rain, with sparse houses on the left and a stone wall to the right. It looks like a street from a small town, with a clouded blue sky. A red, early morning sky over Bristol Temple Meads train station. On a bridge in the centre of Bristol overlooking a river, with canal boats below. Lights for the path to the left, with trees shading the walk, and to the right a busy office block looks quiet at this time of the morning. The sky is grey and calm.

Ah, nice - yeah, took wrestling with Nintendo to allow my purchase to go through there too! And same - little bit this evening tomorrow, mostly going to sink into it at the weekend!

If there is 'a widespread perception among much of the public' that egg-stealing goblins hide in their attic you don't address their 'legitimate concerns' by declaring a war on attic goblins, you point out loudly & confidently the truth: that their beliefs are insane, propagated by nasty crackpots.

Low-traffic neighbourhoods likely to fail because of how passionate the right are about their freedom to drive over children with Land Rovers.

The 15th century farmhand steps through the portal. In wonder, he gazes around the lab as I attach an Apple Watch to his wrist. He stares at the delicate machine. With a tapping sensation his wrist buzzes and lets him know that his latest Nectar offers can be unlocked right now directly on the app.
