Our mother’s cousin Marion LeBlanc was married to Terry A. Francois, the first African American to serve on the Board of Supervisors in San Francisco. I didn't visit San Francisco until 1990- after cousin Terry's passing. Cousin Marion was a warm and gracious hostess who I remember fondly.
