Just got a knock back from the bank for a loan to build a wheelchair-accessible extension for Finn. Seems we don't have enough money.
So I blew my giro on bevvy and oysters, and now I've got no money. That'll teach them.

It's only taken 7 years, but I finally managed to convince La Higgelleta to get rid of the dishwasher. Middle class nonsense! Can people no wash the dishes any more?
And anyway, I needed the space for my new wine fridge.

It was Pinot Noir from Pays d'Oc, in the kitchen, with the cheese knife. Sounds like påskekrim, but this particular Norwegian Blue is most definitely still alive.

Just had a delivery of nappies for my 9 -year-old, Finn. It's great being disabled coz they give you loads of free stuff. Not just nappies, but medicine to keep you alive too! Shame we're no longer in the UK, or he could look forward to getting a job as well.

The sun has set on Finn's 9th-birthday weekend. He celebrated at respite, at school and finally at home. He doesn't eat much, but

As a substitute for pie and bovril I opted for "pre-match" snails and Kelner. I've just been informed it was "pre-Paddington" snails and Kerner.
