(The first bunch of times I tried posting this, using a variety of settings, I got an error reading "Invalid app.bsky.feed.post record: Record/embed/aspectRatio/width can not be less than 1". I finally managed to fix it by re-encoding in Handbrake using one of the "Social" settings.)

I love those active transportation bridges for pedestrians and cyclists. I posted a local colourful one in my timeline a few days ago, also taken by drone.

The US and much of the developed world shipped manufacturing offshore decades ago to take advantage of cheaper material and labour. It has kept consumer costs down, relatively. But if the attitude of "we don't need their stuff we can make it here" digs in, US consumers WILL see massive inflation.

The difference between USD and CAD presently ranges from 30%-35%. It's great for Canadian exporters. American importers save 'bigly' on material and labour costs. So in addition to potential tariff hikes of 25% on, let's say cars, steel, aluminum, it would hike domestic US production costs to 60%.

There's another major negative factor that's not mentioned in the article about the consequences of protectionism, with trump's attitude of "we don't need their stuff we can make it here". The US enjoys the benefit of strong purchasing power due to the strength of the USD internationally.

This short clip, pushing into a local hospital, was a manual flight and probably one of my better efforts, though I did come down too low too soon and had to level off for the final bit. I haven't heard of Twixtor, going to have a look at it. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply and explanations. And yes I am aware of the height vs sensation of motion effect. I find it difficult to get it right sometimes. Mostly I fly manually but I should get into the habit of setting up my captures using the waypoints feature, for smoothness and consistency.

So you have a rule of thumb for airspeed when you are pushing into a subject, if it's not in motion too? Your shots look just right.
