Day 02, of "one new collage in the store every day week!"

d'Adenauer, a new collage. A3 ink drawing of four bottles on five pieces of found paper. Postive & negative. New & old. And looking pretty great in this studio shot, if I may say so myself.

But I only have so much space. Feel free to take it off my hands.

Three collages from the studio today.

Also, Trump is a fascist, a sexual predator, and a proudly ignorant, weak-ass draft dodger.

My latest "10 photographs from last month" post is up on my blog. www.postcardsfromberlin.net/blog/april-t...
Featured are Berlin, Hamburg, and Brandenburg, a tiny bit of German politics, aggressively bright colors, and a quote from an LLM about "doors without walls".

Two from the studio today. I‘m really digging this vibe. #collage

While the US government descends into a fascist horror-state, I finally updated the 2024 gallery of the Museum of Bottle Drawings, the internet's most important resource of drawings of bottles, vases, and other assorted vessels.

The current collection consists of 85 drawings, depicting 371 vessels.

A handful of drawings from a trip to a chic trailer park near a lake in rural Germany.

A few more of these. I’m planning a zine for later this spring with around 30 of these plus some lists of ten things about them.

Looks like the video is cropped. C'est la vie.

I've been messing around in Rive during a pause between freelance projects and built a handful of hover interactions. No idea where this'll go, but it's quite fun messing around with a new tool without a very clear goal.

Still working away at this project. What do the sigils, icons, and symbols mean? Who can say…

Up on my blog today, an image-heavy post showing off a book I found at a used bookstore last week. I cannot wait to start using these in collages.

My default answer to „what’s your favorite movie“ was always „The Conversation“.

It’s been slow going in the #collage studio due to a big freelance animation project, but I’m getting back to it.

The visual metaphor isn’t perfect, but it’ll do.

Once my renders are done, the big coffee mug will be full.
February 5, 2025 at 2:40 PM
Okay few hours in the studio today. I’ve been away for a bit & took a while to warm up. I’d planned on making three small collages, but these two will have to do.
