BART is recovering from an earlier problem. There is a major on the Berryessa line in the Richmond, Daly City and Berryesssa directions due to an earlier obstruction on the track between Union City and Fremont.

The goal is to solicit developer interest in spring 2026, analyze their responses through a competitive process, and obtain approval of the selected developer from BART’s Board of Directors about 6 months later.

What is planned for Fremont Station? BART will pursue development in two phases.

1️⃣ The 1st phase will consist of developing about 8 acres on the east side of the station near Mowry Ave, which is currently being used for BART parking.

It's not hard to get to Hardly Strictly Bluegrass 🎶 - just take BART and Muni.

Follow our rider guide and enjoy the show!
Take BART to Montgomery St Station, then transfer to a 30th Ave-bound Muni 5 Fulton or 5R Fulton rapid Muni bus. Exit at 25th or 30th Ave.

You can also take BART to Civic Center/UN Plaza, then transfer to the Muni N Judah and exit at 31st or 34th Ave.

This morning, Assemblymember Matt Haney was joined by Director Barnali Ghosh in Richmond and directors Flores and Raburn in Oakland for tours of the cities’ downtowns.

The tours focused on downtown revitalization and included discussion of BART's essentialness to the vitality of urban centers.
