That's a cool ad. I like how they paired Olivia Rodrigo with Sony earbuds. It's a smart move to use a popular artist to promote a product related to the profession of that artist . I wonder if it'll make me want to buy those earbuds just to listen to her music on them. What do you think?

Indeed! The meme taps into the psychology behind why we stick to our own views. Social media sets up filter bubbles, feeding us info that fits what we already believe, and that’s all part of how our minds work. We don’t want to come out of our comfort zone.

I instantly connected with this meme because it reminded me of using the internet back in Tehran, Iran, my hometown. Even though it's not Web 1.0, due to all the security measures and filtering, it still takes forever to load a webpage—even in 2024! :)
