Another solid week for new music. Those Blasphemous and Panzerfaust albums are likely to end up on my Best of '24 list.
Album cover for Panzerfaust - The Suns of Perdition - Chapter IV - I adored Chapter II, but Chapter III was a letdown. This rights the ship nicely. Grandiose and epic black metal. Album cover for Blasphemous - To Lay Siege and Conquer - One of the best of black/death metal releases of the year. Album cover for Amyl and the Sniffers - Cartoon Darkness - Nothing crazy new from them, but I've always liked them. Album cover for Molder - Catastrophic Reconfiguration - Their best release yet, but this death metal band is even better live.
