I get that Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly is a buggy mess, but it's greatest problem is the fact it's incredibly bland after those first 3 PlayStation games. Worlds are too big, themes are less imaginative, and it's not challenging. Thing is, it's playable enough. Even if the game likes to crash.

Order up! Special order of the Dave the Intern #RingRacers character is now available. Do you want fries with that?

Dave joins other new obscure Sonic characters done by fantastic artists, now live on the MB, in @noname999.bsky.social's character pack.

Before I forget. I've got a list of games I've beaten in 2025. A few games finished on Evercade, including the original Tomb Raider, 40 Winks, Duke Land of the Babes and Zero. I guess I never really made time to beat any long, modern game last year. All vintage games including some fighters!

I did at least get to finish Lomax this time. This game does kinda just... end. Doesn't it?

Well, after having my saves corrupted on my MemCard Pro (Then restoring them from backups) and getting my saves on my yellow Retroid Pocket. I might make an effort to finish some of those PS1 games I kept meaning to finish. Not Mega Man Legends of course. Maybe I can finish Alundra 2 this time...

Can someone help me in Mario 64? Please I'm bad.
January 27, 2026 at 6:54 PM
I got to check out the N64 recomp ports of Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64 on Dreamcast. There are flaws, but its mind blowing to have decent running 3D 'homebrew' that also happens to get N64 games working on SEGA's console finally.

Would've gone crazy at this kind of progress back then.

I wish they had that figured out before.

And the first #RingRacers commission by @noname999.bsky.social is the ancient Sonic Boom villain: Dave the Intern.

Which ancient Sonic Boom enemy were you thinking of? That series is over 10 years old by now...

I don't know what else to say. There's some noteworthy and cool games that won't stay on these services, and a lot of those I'm sure you'd see on some Abandonware site, but people are getting complacent on how these games can stay in circulation. Even if ultimate they are not -marketable-.

I want the most obscure multiplayer maps that nobody has thought of, or maybe never have even played! Did anybody play Dukematch on Duke Nukem Total Meltdown for PS1?

Okay these are total conversion mods of console versions made for the PC originals. Still.
January 5, 2026 at 11:09 AM
Also makes me think how there should be a gimmick account that posts screenshots of multiplayer maps that have been long forgotten.

What happens when you try pairing the controller in other modes? The official manual on their website wants you to pair it in "Android" mode (Start + B) which is just DirectInput. I've seen people say they got it to pair in Switch mode (Start + Y)

Hopefully it's not SteamInput override being weird.

Surely these other companies will step it up when it comes to collector sets and-- oh no.

Oh.

Oh...

Oh no...

In addition to characters converted over, I've some been commissioned to do 9 new characters for #RingRacers. OCs! Lot of Pokémon! First Dragon Ball! First Sonic character(s)! See you next year!

The MK64 Spaghetti Kart PC port accidentally fixed a legacy bug. In the horizontal splitscreen mode, notice the left screenshot, P2's character never strays away from the center of the screen when turning/drifting. A recent nightly build (Right) simplified the camera code and resolved the issue.

Here's a hastily put together collage of all the characters I converted from SRB2Kart to #RingRacers this year alone. All thanks to commissioners who got me to hit a finance goal earlier this year. I've still got another 8 of them to go.

CardCaptor Sakura's Sealing Wand shows up in Ring Racers. I made it too big so I shrunk it down and refined details so that it shows up better. As for where it shows up? Well if her car is the Sealing Wand and something were to happen to it, its probably not good news for Sakura.

While the handling of social media post on Twitter was done poorly, (Why's anybody there?) there's pictures out there on sites like Reddit of people who got their statues and like them, to a point. This article only focuses on the handful of Twitter users. They'll still handle replacements for them.

mb.srb2.org/addons/bartm... A Christmas present from me to you, five characters converted over to #RingRacers. Including a custom outfit for Akane thanks to a generous commission from @seriouspan.bsky.social!

CardCaptor Sakura! Tenchi! Slayers! Misty with Psyduck and also with a new outfit!

You know they wanted the 64DD to sell you on expansions for games you already own. Like new levels and areas for Mario 64, Ocarina and new mini games for Mario Party. How could they replicate that capability I wonder...
December 22, 2025 at 11:33 PM
@nightdivestudios.bsky.social I'm not sure if I ran into weird issues with Blood Refreshed Supply in Cryptic Passage. But on map 9 I had to noclip past the 4 key door cause it wouldn't open. Then after getting the invulnerability icon Cerberus is still able to kill me.
December 19, 2025 at 6:58 AM
Right, but but Sonic and Shadow still needs to turn cause they stand at an angle. What do they look like on the base?
December 19, 2025 at 6:54 AM
You really never know what you'll find with that Sega Channel lot. Heres Sam and Max out of nowhere.
December 16, 2025 at 9:15 PM
Those news tickers might be worth data mining since they have information on games (ports especially) that never came out.

They had 'rumors' that Tekken and Full Throttle would be on the SEGA Saturn. This is from the February 1996 menu demo.
