280 years ago, on March 15th, I opened The Dublin Lying In Hospital in an old Theatre in George’s Lane. I am proud of the ongoing development of the hospital and the continuous care delivered to women and babies ever since.

Allow me to introduce myself, I am of Maryborough, Queen’s county. Born in the year of 1712. I diligently & faithfully completed my apprenticeship under Mr. John Stone, Surgeon in July 1733.
