That’s a strong demand for accountability. If leaders aren’t willing to act when serious misconduct is alleged, then calling for new leadership becomes part of the political pressure voters can apply.

It’s a strange political play. If most GOP voters using ACA subsidies are in their own districts, refusing to extend them means hurting the very people they represent. It’s a classic case of ideology overrunning practical benefit, and their constituents will feel it first.
