I know it depends on many factors, but it angers me, I would not comply and I have a hard time understanding why others do. Of course I know it’s a personality thing, I would never join the army or become a cop, I would never carry a gun, ever. But the thought of ”just say no” is what angers me.

So I only did my 2 deliveries at work this morning and then went home after calling in sick. Been hanging on my lazy chair watching TV and being immobilised by a #CatOnMyLap situation. Head ache just refuses to budge and I am hungry but have zero appetite to eat anything. Man flu sucks.

I really, really, hope that at least all the “officers” involved in those inhuman acts are being noted and recorded, so that they can be held responsible when the time comes.

“Obeying orders” is not a free pass to commit crime, certainly not crimes against humanity.

Next to the complicity towards the Gaza situation, there are 2 other things that I see pass by that anger me to the bone, and I have a hard time understanding how people are letting it happen. It’s ICE in the US and the non stop arrests of peaceful protesters in the UK.

Will go into work later to do the deliveries that are already loaded on my truck, then I’ll report sick and go home. I’d go now if it wasn’t for one of the deliveries not being possible to deliver before 6 am.

Yes, it is 3 am and yes, I’m up. Couldn’t sleep. Sat under a hot shower for half an hour hoping the headache would go down. It worked a little bit. But can’t sleep anyway so made a cup of tea and watching some TV.

They are treated as such but I don’t think they officially are. Dutch are obsessed with bonfires and with fireworks now soon being banned even at New Year’s Eve, I fear it’s only going to get worse. I hate it, such a waste of everything.

They still could be shredded and reused in different ways, burning them is just needless air pollution. Never understood, even as a child when they’d burn the Christmas trees in Januari, thought it was stupid (they shred them now instead). (Sorry for being a boring old moaner 😹)

If you’re not dependent on having WiFi overnight, you can put a timer on the power supply to your modem/ router. Some routers also allow block times but that would take some know-how of the router and it’s software.

Horrible night’s sleep as I’m struck with the flu. Had been having a soar throat for about a week already, hoped it’d pass but alas, now soar everywhere, head ache and high temperature. Paracetamol, extra clothing and heating up high, hoping to sweat it out.

Tibbles has a bit of Persian in him I think, he really needs brushing or it will clutter up. And we both enjoy it so it’s okay. 😃 (Neelix isn’t keen on grooming himself so a brush every now and then does him good, but he sheds like crazy anyway, brushing or not.)

No, it’s a different type of fur. I need to brush him (and unlike Neelix, he loves it) to get the loose hairs out. He is much softer also. After a good brushing he is gorgeous with a beautiful shiny fur.

Plan is to go full #Linux for laptop, tablet and phone, with my own home based cloud. I have no Linux at the moment - laptop is #Ubuntu but is dead and devices are #iPad / #iPhone - what would be the best first step? Laptop, tablet, phone or home cloud server?
