Jake Burger is going to help the Rangers in many ways. A Burger strength was also a 2024 TEX weakness: the elevated fastball.
Since 2023, Burger's .641 SLG vs the upper-third FB ranks 9th/323. WOW!
Last year's Rangers slugged .325 on those pitches (24th) w/ a .183 BA (27th)

Certainly not down on Kumar Rocker as a prospect at all, but I think he's opening the year in Round Rock, which might be the best thing for his future anyway.

We'll see how much I use this, but trying it out. I love the Texas Rangers far more than I can justify. Also love baseball in general and hate bigotry.
