I’m sick of Windows being slow. I’m sick of Teams being slow. I’m sick of Outlook being slow. I’m sick of everything being a web app! We got fast computers but is the software that slowed down.

This was all @microsoft.com Designer. It was maxing out the CPU while I was adding test to an image. We need to bring back Desktop Native Software and stop using Web Apps for everything.

Today I spent 4hrs diagnosing a keyboard issue with #Windows11. Once the drive issue was sorted, only the function keys would work. Upgrading from 23H2 to 24H2 was the fix. I had better things to do with my day. #IT #MSP #TechSupport

If I was PM, I’d be setting a summit with Canada, Mexico, EU, and UK and establishing some big trade agreements that leaves out the US. Watch Trump get upset that he was left out of a big party.

Since #Microsoft are increasing the costs of #Microsoft365 Family plans to $179/year, I’ve started looking for alternatives. I don’t want #AI. I’m not going use #Copilot. I don’t want to do this but I can’t justify this cost.

I spent the better part of yesterday trying to figure out which software I was going to use for a Self-Hosted Mail Server, or go with a hosting provider. Not for anything important, but just for personal domain. All too hard, and I hate the idea that I would need to maintain the software updates.
