I used to have farm cats growing up and I genuinely believed the outside was where they could thrive and be happy. Couldn’t be farther from the truth. Your cat is much happier where he is safe and warm indoors, they are not built for the environments we let them run free in.

Every day I feel blessed with our opportunity to make Vtubing our jobs as artists - some days I miss game dev and working with teams but I'm at least happy I've found a place to survive. I hurt for everyone out there who felt promised a place to belong as an artist and now can't support themselves.

It's awful. When I graduated art school, I never would have imagined the world we are in now would be our future. The enthusiasm around animation, concept art, design, etc. It all felt so hopeful, the practices felt cared for. You'd never think it would all suddenly start to vanish
