There will be some changes to bin collections in Bassetlaw over the festive period from Thursday, 25th December 2025.

Stickers will also be placed on all bins over the coming weeks to inform residents.

Our markets in Worksop & Retford have been cancelled on Sat 4 October due to Storm Amy bringing strong winds of up to 50mph that are expected to hit most of the UK.

We apologise for this disruption but have prioritised the safety of the public, market traders & our staff when making this decision.

Office Closures

Bassetlaw District Council offices in Worksop and Retford will be closed on Monday, 25th August 2025 for the summer bank holiday, and will reopen the following day.
