If resisting oppressive power entails uncritically accepting and reproducing its dictated terms so as to push back against them, we run the risk of dooming resistance from the outset. Alongside resistance, to win not just a battle but also the war, we need redirection, subversion, and invention.

Anybody yelling at Marc for “not doing enough” truly need to shut their mouths for a second, and take a good look. He has been in the trenches fighting for your rights far longer than most have even known he existed.

Some of you really need to step back, take a breath, and think.
If you are posting here that I need to fight harder, I think you've lost the plot. But good luck to you!

Jan 6 must be fully & conclusively adjudicated in a court of law if this country is to ever move forward.

They can't just wish it away unless we let them.
Though the Justice Dept has deleted information about its Jan 6 prosecutions from its website, a federal judge has issued an order listing and chronicling all of the cases and prison terms

This is one of my pet peeves, and one of the scariest aspects of Bluesky. I wish more people would, not just vet mod/block lists before they subscribe, but continue to monitor how those lists are being wielded. I’ve seen more than one that have turned into dumpsters for personal grievances.
I’ve had that too. Like, you disagree with someone about the particulars of strategy or whatever and they decide you’re an enemy.

I do think a lot of it is actual sabotage to try to prevent Bluesky community from reaching critical mass.

Take over the narrative playing on the GOP oligarch-owned networks? ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC are all owned by billionaire Republicans who don't even try to let their networks do fair reports. X and Meta are owned by oligarchs who have kissed the ring. The NY Times, Washington Post, LA Times, same.

Am I really so controversial, that someone on the left feels the need to block me, never once having interacted with me?

Someday, that bubble will pop.

He’s done a great job in Minnesota. I just hope he can translate that understanding of outreach and ground game to the national stage, while slogging through our current constitutional crisis. This is a multi layered fight he’s been put in charge of.
I'll wish Ken Martin the best, he has a hard job in front of him.

How to pop a troll 101. A google lens search of profile pics can point you in the right direction. Ms? Mr? “Jabarina” made the really stupid choice of grabbing a pic of a successful immigrant, for a troll account that spreading anti-immigrant hate. It only took a couple call outs to banish them.

Please pass this on, and follow Marc. He is a man who has been in the trenches fighting for us, longer and harder than most of us realize.
Each time I have sat down to write something since the election, I am bothered by this recurring phrase that I simply cannot get out of my head.

So, I am going to just say it out loud: we are on our own. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/we-a...

It is pretty suspicious, the sudden breakdown in coordination and cooperation that the corp had with the local authorities for so long. 🤔 I would not be surprised if the big man baby demanded the taps be opened immediately.
Seems quite possible this is the tap the President sent the military to turn on—an unscheduled flood release from Army Corps reservoirs into the surrounding farmland 200 miles and a couple mountain ranges distant from the wildfires. sjvwater.org/decision-to-...
