(1/2) Increased community connections, leading to more effective health programming. I saw another post about residents getting involved with health departments, which is laudable, but people are busy and stressed. We need public health to reach out and form a strong relationship.

What does it mean to implement healthy food purchasing standards? Limit what can be used by SNAP or something more?

Couldn't agree more! Even with sidewalks where I live, I dream of turning the more commercial area roads into pedestrian zones. Add some benches, shade, and play areas for kids and you'll have stronger, healthier communities in no time.
