Can you share examples how women are valued globally? In the US my rights differ from state to state. Did you know before 1974 women were not allowed to get a home loan or a credit card without a man. These historical & some present oppressive laws reinforce a narrative that women are less than.

It’s about time white people are lumped together like everyone else. White people have so much privilege that we need to use it for the greater good. We need to get other white people to stop being silent until it effects them directly.

I agree hate (racism, sexism, etc) is learned & it’s starts at an early age. We are taught it in school, the media, news, etc.. It takes a deliberate practice to undo. The US school system is the worst. Imagine one paragraph of a history book devoted to Indigenous peoples and 2 to enslaved people’s.

Yes they need support and unions by design do that and the leadership and members still discriminate especially against women, POC and the LGBTQ+ community. SO we also need education (dei) to make sure they are truly represented.

And the investigative journalists are still failing. And let’s remember that women and children are not valued. Why don’t we ever hear men and children?
