NY lawyer. Sued Trump derivatively o/b/o U.S. on Jan. 19, 2021. Biden's DOJ moved to dismiss my case. Years later, they tried to prosecute Trump. How'd that turn out, General Garland?
The green headline should either be flipped or passive.
Belie means give the lie to, or prove false.
So false claims do not belie facts.
Facts belie false claims.

Wrong.
That’s not the East Wing!
It’s the entrance hall to the White House, and it still exists.

Feels like USAO-SDNY must have been finger-tapping these boxes for a while—and eventually said something like, “Well, Main Justice, if you’re not going to produce them soon, as the law requires, then we will.”
Which finally got someone’s attention.

Why is he going after the NYT?
Did they publish something he particularly disliked?
Or are they about to?

“Legere” is Latin for “to read.”
”To choose” in Latin is “eligere.”

Seems like a very public signal to Trump: “Here’s what is most wrong and needs to change.”
Plus a soupçon of “Here’s what I can reveal if you fire me.”

No, no—the lettering is fool’s gold.
The bronze is on his face.

“Adjacent to the Mall”?
No, that’s not accurate.
East Potomac Park is not “adjacent” to the Mall.

Carville should sit down.

POTUS is trying to relive the emotional highs of the 70s and 80s.
Can’t handle the present, so he retreats to the past.

Generally speaking, Trump, by Executive Order, can revoke any Executive Order he wants.
He can’t do it by tweet though.
Also: none of this is news…

But the gold leaf makes it all worth it.

No?

It’s not clear why Senate Gabe attacks Sen. Kelly for not doing something that, as Senate Gabe should know, Senate rules prohibit Sen. Kelly from doing.
November 27, 2025 at 4:48 PM
Both of which date back to 2015 and thus were in effect during 2022, when Senate Gabe says he worked for Sen. Tina Smith. (He didnt say when he began to work for Sen. Smith.)

And to this prohibition: “Prohibited Uses. Use of Senate Internet Services and Senate technology resources for campaign, fundraising, commercial, or promotional purposes is prohibited, except for authorized "dual use devices"
November 27, 2025 at 4:43 PM
Senate Gabe Reacted poorly to this definition: “Promotional Purposes. Include, but are not limited to, publicizing or advertising a product, organization, institution, or venture so as to increase sales or public awareness.”
November 27, 2025 at 4:42 PM
Senate policy for official websites prohibits promotional uses:

Well, as an American citizen I’d prefer that all Democratic Members of Congress keep their jobs through their next election.
Perhaps you and I differ there.

Some sitting MCs have served, iirc. I’ve always wondered about that.
November 27, 2025 at 3:51 PM
On your 2d point, urging people not to comply with illegal orders is what the 6 MCs did.
In their capacities as MCs, none of them is in any chain of command.
What their duty would be, if they were reactivated, is a separate Q. I think they’d have to retire again, to avoid separation-of-powers issue
November 27, 2025 at 3:50 PM
website restrictions aside, referring people publicly to any outside group would probably cause Trump to demand that DOJ investigate that outside group.
And this DOJ, of course, would comply.
