Cheaper to not install safety systems that to save lives. Government can always shut down wrongful death lawsuits and blame the federal goverment for not doing what the State should.

Very relevant. State and local goverment official failed to protect their citizens. Even underfunded the NWS provide warning threat the local republican goverment official did not act on. No local flood warning system. No evacuations. People died because of goverment inaction.

Texas does not take care of it citizens. If it did, flood monitors would have been in place to save these lives. Zoning laws would have prevented people from building on a historic dangerous flood plain. Texas greed is why these people died.

Even with all the cut, the NWS did their job. Reports were issued. Failure was at the local level.

It is not normal for the US military to march in the streets. Unless they are in a ceremonial position, solider do not drill marching beyond basic training. They are not show ponies.

They don't anymore because so many protections have been made law when it comes to peanuts. Banning peanut and peanut butter was all the rage as I grew up. Also, why are you asking in a gluten free forum?

Cross contamination for peanuts is nowhere as prevail as gluten. 80% of grocery food/ 98% of restaurants are not option for celiacs. Nut free alternatives are plentiful. Immediate death is not worry. Fatigue, brain fog, pain, malnutrition, bowel issues, and cancer lead to low quality of life.

Personally, I shifted my GF diet away from relying on GF bread and enjoy for rice and potato dishes. When I do have GF bread, it more of a treat than a staple.

Reheat in a pan on the stove. I do it for GF pizza's to recrisp the bottoms. Put a lid on, you could remelt the toppings.

I hate the idea that just because I am buying a GF bread like product, I want it to be healthy. No, I just want a piece of bread. Most of my diet is full of fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses. Any baked good is a treat- nutrition is the last thing on my mind.

This is bad advice. The crinkle fries likely share the same oil as gluten items (many stores to not have dedicated fryers nor cleaning equipment). Stick to the Shakes, sauces, and order the GF meat without the bun.

It not about eggs having gluten (they don't), it is simple alternatives to use instead of eggs(for whatever personal reason). Plenty of times I've run out of egg, but want to make something like pancakes. Applesauce for the win.
