Oh dear. Self flagellation would be kinder.

I've been wanting to revisit it.

And the hallucinations / nightmares are either the pipes (understandable) or the daughter, or Juno (connected to Sara you know, stabbing a climbing pick through Juno's leg) not the husband.

Hugo never gets his ham!

I'm sorry, I couldn't do it! It's just too upsetting!

Sure, there could have been something else that identified Juno, so we do have something connected to the affair, but the affair is not the catalyst for revenge (just another aspect of Juno's lies) but I'd argue Beth & the cave itself are the more pressing lies for the revenge.

I don't read the reveal of the necklace as being about the affair - I read it as being about showing that she knew that Juno left Beth to die after Juno lied about seeing Beth die. Beth pulled the necklace from Juno, & she told Sarah that Juno left her. All after Juno lied about the cave.

This stuff is usually more: fragile masculinity "needing" a thing that isn't seen as feminine (whatever that may or may not mean). Either way: boo.

I love The Descent! Original ending. And there is no sequel. Nope.

Sexist? How?! Where?! No. No it is not. How strange.
