#NowWatching Game Of Death

Even though today is Thanksgiving, I wanted to celebrate what would have been Bruce Lee’s eighty-fifth birthday by watching the last film Bruce was involved with before his passing in 1973.

Happy 40th anniversary to Rocky IV, the fourth installment in the Rocky franchise. After realizing that Rocky's previous opponents had loud, animated personalities, Dolph Lundgren came up with the idea of giving Ivan Drago a much more intimidating presence.

#NowWatching Fist of Fury

Since tomorrow is Bruce Lee’s birthday, I wanted to pay tribute to him by revisiting his second film, which came out a year after The Big Boss. I haven't seen this film in ages, but because it’s Bruce Lee, I’m going to have a great time rewatching it.

Happy 22nd anniversary to The Haunted Mansion, based on the Disneyland attraction of the same name. One of the singing busts is modeled after Paul Frees, who voiced the Ghost Host, the disembodied narrator of the theme park ride.

#NowWatching M3GAN 2.0

I thought M3GAN was a pretty fun movie, so when I heard a sequel was coming out, I was intrigued by it, despite the mixed reviews, since I thought the first was a one-and-done deal. Will it live up to the original? Time to find out.

#NowWatching 28 Years Later

When it comes to modern-day zombie movies, I loved 28 Days Later and I thought 28 Weeks Later was pretty solid. Time to see if the third entry in the series will be better or worse than the other two.

Happy heavenly birthday to Harpo Marx, the second-oldest of the Marx Brothers comedy troupe. He wore a curly, reddish-blonde wig and did not speak; instead, he blew a horn or whistled to communicate, since his comic style was more visual than verbal.
