This Rugby World Cup has been absolutely brilliant - FRA-NZ was a proper thriller. It's so good to see a full stadium for the final. Too early to pick a winner but I don't really care!

In a quite significant milestone (for me anyway), I've broken the 10 kilo barrier since the end of June on my weight loss thingy (I can't bring myself to say 'journey' - it fills me with rage and shoutiness). I still look like a landslide, but the erosion process has started.

Bluesky: I have a question! The 18 DH Mosquitoes that took part in Op Carthage (not the 2 PR versions) - were they glass-nosed Bs or cannon-nosed FBs? The photos appear to show glass noses (which seems logical for precision strike ops) but I can't be sure.

Just booked a fjord kayak trip while I’m in Norway in a couple of weeks. Last time I was in a canoe was on an army cadet thing in North Wales and it turned into a rescue mission (I nearly lost a good friend). Very excited about the trip, but a bit anxious too.
