The original Heir to the Throne has been renamed "Heir to the Throne, Classic" and the original Battle Training tutorial has been merged into it.

Oh, and the Son of the Black-Eye campaign now allows the player’s unit to obtain custom AMLAs on advancement.

Now the update is that the classic one is going to stay. I am going to stop providing updates on this as they seem to change their decision every 2 days so I am not sure what the final verdict will be at this point.

The ultimatum is that the classic Heir to the Throne will be detached from the core game and then moved to the add-ons server. Maintenance of the classic campaign has been transferred to the Wesnoth Modders Guild (WMG).

Hey, I know I said the "(Note, the classic version will NOT be removed)" but seems the developers have begun talks to go down that road after all. #wesnoth
