I hate every MLB team that isn’t the Pittsburgh Pirates but the team I hate the most is the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Joe Flacco most certainly did not start the year as a backup.

Overall: This team is going to hit well, and the pitching will be fine but it's just not good enough to stand up against the best teams in the league.

Record Prediction: 86-76
December 15, 2025 at 11:29 PM
Strengths: Hitting and particularly the middle of the order. The 3-4 punch of Fletcher and Hebner is one to be feared and they have good table setters ahead of them.

Weaknesses: Lack of pitching stand outs. The pitchers are fine but there is no ace or strong back-end arm here

Overall: A very solid team from top to bottom. The first team where each roster spot brings something to the team. Not a lot of star power but productive guys up and down the roster.

Record Prediction: 85-77
December 15, 2025 at 11:29 PM
Strengths: Outfield/Bullpen. The outfielders will carry the offense and the bullpen is deep with a dynamic closer

Weaknesses: Mid Rotation and Infield Offense. The rotation has an ace but the rest of it is filled with back-end options. The infield can pick it but won't hit much.

Overall: There is potential for this team to compete but over the long haul of the season their lack of depth is going to be exposed and will ultimately limit their ceiling.

Record Prediction: 84-78
December 15, 2025 at 11:29 PM
Strengths: The rotation is the backbone of this team and specifically the dynamic 1-2 punch of Adams and Friend which is about as good as it gets for any All Time Pirates team.

Weaknesses: Depth. The team has a weak bunch and only a couple decent bullpen arms.

Overall: The rotation will hold this team back, but they will be able to score runs and have a good enough bullpen to hold on to most of the leads they get. A solid albeit not great team.

Projected Record: 82-80
December 12, 2025 at 12:58 AM
Strengths: The outfield is best part of the team and does a lot to make it a good lineup. The back end of the bullpen figures to do a good job closing out games.

Weaknesses: The rotation is the clear weak link as it features no top of the rotation options.

Close. It’s their 4th largest in the last 9 years. Chapman is first at 10.5 and then it’s a tie between Rich Hill and Martin Perez at 8 million. All left handed pitchers weirdly enough.
December 10, 2025 at 2:24 AM
Overall: A solid rotation and lineup make this a decent team but the bottom third of the lineup, bench and bullpen are areas of concern. In all a pretty average team.

Record Prediction: 81-81
December 9, 2025 at 2:29 AM
Strengths: The LaValliere/Burgess combo gives the team such strength at catcher that one will DH to keep both in the lineup. Lee Meadows makes for a very solid staff ace.

Weaknesses: Depth. The team is going to be tested from a depth perspective as its a very shallow roster.

Overall: The rotation is the backbone of the team and there is just enough offense for the team to be competitive, but the bullpen will ultimately let them down.

Projected Record: 78-84
December 6, 2025 at 2:12 AM
Strengths: This is a good and deep rotation the team will need to lean on to carry them. The outfield is also pretty solid lead by the team's best player Ginger Beaumont.

Weaknesses: The bullpen and infield are clear problem areas that will hold the team back.
