A lot of my characters are frequently adapted to various settings and genres, I have a lot of fun doing it honestly. It helps my characters feel more alive and fluid, and certainly helps develop their personality on the more.

Oh! If you're looking for just simply writing interactive, choose your own adventure type stories, and there are websites for that. I used Twine to make one once. Its a little complicated on the surface but has loads of good tools for it.

I would also be happy to help you get such a project off the ground. Godot (the game engine I've been using lately) is free to use and has tools to develop browser based games. I haven't done anything with that yet, but I would be happy to learn. I crave a game like what you're talking about.

There's an online game called Dawn Of Corruption. Its mostly focused around males, with growth, hyper, and muscle expansion. But even if you're not into those themes and combos, it hosts a great deal of RPG mechanics, all contained in a broswer. Could look at it for inspiration!

Ive always loved this sort of concept, even made a prototype of such in Unity as a sorta text based adventure years ago.
