Utah only got fluoride about twenty years ago and it has fluoride free water available in most major water districts. This might be the stupidest thing the Utah legislature has done (though that's stiff competition).

To add to this: many religions have spread because they were attached to an empire and cultural identity. If Mormonism was 1000 years old primarily practiced in the caucuses it might be thought of as similar to Armenian orthodoxy or druze.

Bluesky is great! There's a lot of cool tech behind it and you can follow the lead engineer to get live updates. Feels like the old internet. Threads feels like Instagram and Twitter had a secret love child they abandoned.

Asking another one: why do you think more people didn't leave the trumpified party? I'm in Utah and it's staggering to see folks here go from espousing free market/trade ideologies to protectionism in less than a decade.

1. If mass deportations and tariffs happen it seems like the economy would take a huge hit. What do you think the likelihood that Trump tries both?
2. I'm very worried about the situation in the Middle East. With Trump in office what do you think happens w/ Israel & Iran?

My dad has never told my mom who he voted for in nearly 50 years of marriage. I guess it works out if the man is the one keeping a secret 🤷

My grandpa drank decaf in the 80s and 90s with no ecclesiastical consequences (though I think he wasn't on the high council at that point).
