IANAL, but what harm has Trump suffered? If he gets a single penny (dime), we might as well curl up and die.

So what do you think it would have been spent on? It seems you doubt their integrity.

Next wk's headline: PCC accuses CC of squandering police funding.....really??

MP basic pay has increased by near 50% since 2008. Just saying.

Streeting's LBC interview today has been universally hailed as a huge success. But look behind the facade..more privatisation, more PFI, and MY waiting lists have become longer not shorter.
The dispute is NOT just about pay.
Since 2008, MP basic pay is up c50%. Just saying.

I do. If I didn't, I'd never have come across you. So go ahead, convince me I'm wrong. Across the country around £1.5bn has been spaffed away, when it could have been invested in front-line policing. Wholly in line with Reform's policy of eliminating govt waste it seems to me.

There have been numerous comments about the announcement across a wide variety of media and the public's view is unanimous. Read them for yourself. Literally the only complaint I have so far seen is yours.

If striking is a choice, so is every Govt decision, so likewise it too should take ownership.

Streeting should at least say what he thinks they are worth & have a plan to get them there (accounting for inflation alongn the way).
Worth noting that since 2008, MP basic pay has inc by near 50%. It's easy to make "hard" decisions when you yourself are not affected.

The question of course is how.

Just follow the money.......there will be a "donation" somewhere close by.

I'd dearly like to know the size of the redundancy package. Eye-watering rather than statutory minimum would be my guess.
Plus the staff which (for us here) incl. a CEO & CFO + 3 (yes3) deputy PCCs.

The same old shite....claiming credit for tidying up one's own mess.

Count yourself lucky. For some, it is like this for their entire lives.
