Adam Younis is an incredibly skilled artist who articulates complex concepts well but I found Pixel Pete had more actionable tips earlier on in my pixel art journey.

Another great resource on YouTube for people who learn will from video content is the channel PixelPete, which contains really specific breakdowns of certain common game objects while discussing things like how a single pixel placement implies light which implies material type, like wood vs metal.
