I get this all the time, "We must do this purging of the government for the next generation." I say the majority of those terminated are probationary. Those people are mostly highly qualified young people who will be the next generation's parents. It makes no sense!

17 employees from the Forest Service of Western North Carolina were terminated. They were all working on hurricane recovery projects.They were provided no information regarding what prompted these terminations. This is our forest now.

I've been around during the fight for civil rights, Vietnam, Watergate, Bush's "Shock and Awe", the first term of Voldemort, and more. For me, this time is terryfying! I think it's because I see so much acceptance and belief in lies and propaganda. Will democracy stand firm. I'm just not sure.
