The car as a “weaponized weapon” as an excuse to shoot someone in a vehicle is just the ICE version of an unarmed suspect “reaching for the police officers gun” after a shooting as the go-to excuse that they assume everyone will just believe, and media will report with no questions asked.

As soon as I saw how slow Good was driving (a 3-point turnaround as evidence by the car being perpendicular) and the shooter walking around it to fire his gun, then Noem saying there were four incidents that day, it’s obvious that ICE is stepping in front of cars going 2 mph and calling them attacks

Shows how different things are now vs 1970. If Kent State happened today, even the two students, not protesting but killed by stray gunfire on their way to class, would be vilified as threatening to murder the heroic National Guard members.

They don’t need to. They’re using the standard “the car is a deadly weapon”, giving justification for shooting someone for driving.

Whenever Tuberville is mentioned, I like to point out the time as coach of Texas Tech when he brought in a group of 18 y/o HS players for a nice steak dinner on a recruiting visit, then walked away unannounced in the middle of the meal when he got the message that he was going to be hired elsewhere.
