For me its a combination of Ableton Live and Max/MSP, as well as driver support for certain audio hardware (looking at you RME...). Totally fine with a reduction in Linux friendly audio plugins, but just need super stable ports of my DAW and programming language to make the full jump.

Yeah I personally don't use Ecosia, but listed it since StartPage often has server problems. The only truly ad free/ai-blog-repellent one I can think of is Kagi, but it's only useable as a subscription model and they shove their own AI garbage in your way, so it's not really worth the investment.

DuckDuckGo frequently advertises themselves to right as a tool to escape "big tech censorship," courting users like Shapiro. If you are going through the trouble to switch engines, things like Ecosia and StartPage at least aren't actively advertising on bigoted slop platforms.
