Nukes are the ultimate long lead item in energy, they wouldn't have banked on renewables doing so well (cost, capacity, firming).

Won't someone stand up for the poor cattle barons who might be foolishly signing up for money for jam?

Nabralift tripods - promising. Radically less concrete seems a very big plus; no ultra tall heavy lift cranes means smaller construction pads too; short blade length vs hub height may not suit every deployment I guess (less efficient per m2 per tower probs, m2 not in short supply in the Pilbara).

1st responders & designers surely know they burn differently, it's clear that engulfed BEV peak heat intensity is <= burning ICE and, while overall calorific output is a tad higher, it's notably slower.
Media need 4 clicks (&/or someone's deep pockets) = BEV big bad wolf.
Also, Elon is the worst.

Typical joint from construction vid (tailing section is the base, overhead is a little higher up) - flange appears intact in the stills & no bolts visible - improper bolt tensioning or bolt grade?
On the other hand a lazy nutjob would only have to climb one ladder.
Good news: easy to check/replace.

You must live there but don't have access to an AC socket - because you otherwise don't need a DC charger near your home (5 miles?).
Heading to DC desert - Meadville is 75 mi. My weekly commute gap between DC chargers is 120miles, never had to think about it.
