What about making Greenland ICEland? Capitalized ICE. Due to climate change and polar meltdown, it's all needed there!
January 21, 2026 at 9:52 PM

And those who have to go to the Greenland living space have been properly named:
January 18, 2026 at 5:49 PM
Let's hope there are still a few defectors in congress, and, if necessary, in the military. Those who don't subscribe to Trump's cult of personality and held out until now. The Greenland issue could also be a trigger for the ultimate purge.

Let's explore the success case for Trump in Greenland 🇬🇱, instead of preaching what disaster it will be! The primary intention, I suppose, is to put Europe 🇪🇺 in place as vassals. Strategic and commodity interest claims are nonsense, because the USA 🇺🇸 could already do anything there. 1/8

Please stop discussing the garbage spewed forth by Trump and his minions! It makes no sense and is a waste of time.

Probably they train against an alien invasion or zombie apocalypse, to avoid naming the real threat.

All talk from Bessent and Trump on Greenland is just plain garbage.

His earlier tariffs even brought favorable trade deals for him, and some European importers even lowered their profits, to compensate for the tariffs. Trump allies called it "imperial tariffs". Now, Europe is cornered and has already announced to cancel the previous deal. It can't back down now.

What would success for Trump with Greenland look like?

Whataboutism. Why should they choose big bully Trump over Denmark?
January 18, 2026 at 3:46 PM
Nope, Denmark has publicly debated it's colonial past including the darker chapters. Why should Inuit choose the newly unapologetic US bully over a "weak, apologetic, self-hating" Denmark, as MAGA would say it?
January 18, 2026 at 3:35 PM
The US already had nearly full access to everything they want in Greenland!
January 18, 2026 at 3:28 PM
Please all stop discussing the garbage Trump and Bessent say! No talk about security, minerals, arctic routes! They are very obvious distractions and pretexts.

Why ever discuss this flood of garbage? I can't hear "security" "minerals", "shipping routes" anymore, because the US could already take care of all this. It's plain bullying, and perhaps trying to make his last opponents come out to purge them.

It's cornered now. When it gives in, it will become a permanent vassal and colony.

Europe may still lack military power, but has some economic big sticks in it's back hand. With Trump pointing the tariff gun to hand over Greenland, Europe might be forced to use them. That nuclear option was about Ukraine, should the US give in to Putin.

There's simply no space to make a distinction. Of course support those who oppose Trump, but the US are slipping towards a permanent MAGA state. Stable approval around 40%. Maybe this is exaggerated, but the Nazi party only got 33% in last free election, Nov. 1932.
January 18, 2026 at 12:44 PM
Those 40% appear stable for long time, whenever US liberal media report low approval rates for Trump. Not a majority, but not what one might expect for an ongoing dictator, who runs his country down and only resorts to bullying.
January 18, 2026 at 12:36 PM
Europe and UK are now at a fork in the way, of becoming either vassals and colonies, or a strong bloc on their own.

Europe must act now and can't "sit things out", as with Trump's earlier tariffs. Economy is the strongest leverage, but even a military invasion could become expensive for the US, with properly targeted resistance.

I think, economy is where Europe has most leverage currently. It could make a military invasion at least costly, and it may not involve the whole US military.
