I usually have the issue of waist sizes not being small enough, so when I find a decent pair of trousers that feel nice to wear, that are also a reasonable price, i get a few pairs.

This is a massive things in comic pages, and why sketching things out first is important! The placement of Speech bubbles, characters and motion effects can and will cover up things in the background, so laying things out first is always important.
