+ I believe my story craft improved as I wrote this WIP. Readers of it are more important than all other pieces I've written!
- Because my WIP has so much more meaning behind it, it's affected my psyche. I cannot allow myself a break. Having it succeed means everything!

I absolutely write others into my antagonists as then I will never feel sad or sorry when they fail, get hurt, or have their comeuppance. But it's likely my protagonists have some "very" small parts of me in them too.

I'm definitely writing myself more than others. I do sometimes borrow pieces of friends for external characteristics and mannerisms, but I don't know anything about their internal life. So I guess (pardon my theatre kid here) I kinda Staislavski it - put myself in my characters' shoes?
