This. I don’t believe people risk their lives for ‘what have we got to lose’—you fight in the most desperate of times, hope endures and believes and compels us to have vision beyond what we can see—because it’s carried deep within us and within the memory of our ancestors.

This is wild. It’s also clearly broader than immigration enforcement…as always immigrants are the proving ground for any encroachment on civil rights.

We’ve already seen the consequences in states like Florida without further disruption and destruction of DOE. It’s only going to get worse and the students less educated, but I think a less educated population is the point for this administration.

A great reminder that even if the truth coming to light is a long shot, it’s worth pursuing. Pursuing justice—even if it doesn’t result in a win—is still incredibly important and worthwhile.
