Doireann Ní Ghríofa will talk about her prose debut, 'A Ghost in the Throat,' at Boston College on September 24. The genre-defying work was a National Book Critics Circle Award Finalist.

Cassidy Allen presented her work at the International Association of Studies in Irish Literature at the University of Galway. Her paper was titled “Technology in Sally Rooney’s Normal People and Naoise Dolan’s Exciting Times.”

Professor Seán Cahill helped organize Blaiseadh na Gaeltachta, A Taste of the Gaeltacht, an all-Irish language course in Donegal for the 2nd consecutive year. Locals gave lectures & song workshops, 23 students from Ireland & the US took field trips, and everyone had a great time!

MA students Quinn Fisher and Liam Schmidt participated in Professor Nugent's Joyce conference in Paris, celebrating Bloomsday in style!

The two spent time in Dublin and also participated in a week-long Irish language program in Gleann Cholm Cille.
