Been a long week, and the weathers rubbish, so binge watched Blue Lights tonight. Really love this show, tense and exciting as well as silly and soppy, with examples of trauma informed care, lived experience and, most explicitly, the power of a team. Class

Eternal gratitdue to Keith aka JD Twitch for so so many things, and my heart goes out to all those close to him.

There’s so much to say about him but one thing I’ll hope he is remembered for is as a model of wise leadership. He built communities and guided with a sense of “pragmatic anarchism”.

That's Keith McIvor/JD Twitch away, a really special person who did so much for a great many. Wouldn't have as many friends in my life if it wasn't for Pure/Optimo. RIP

Ahead of the NRS report today it’s important to remember that each number is a life ended prematurely, with a family and community left behind. Also to remember the thousands of people (peers, healthcare, 3rd sector etc) tirelessly working to try to reduce harm and stop the deaths.

A day well spent yesterday at the inaugural Scottish RPS conference. It felt like a conversation rather than a presentation which I think was really positive. I left feeling there is an opportunity to shape our future royal college
