I wonder if the Gingrich led congress of '94 might be a better model. The policies were very bad, but it was an energetic and disciplined congressional majority getting things done.

Well an accardi claim can get you into DPC territory. What it is is absolutely awful.

The ICC was set up explicitly for when national governments were unable to try their war criminals!

Good point. And a SC referral b/c I think that with out, the ICC has no jurisdiction bc the US did not sign the Rome statute

Or organize a security council referral.

And get working on referral to the ICC if trump pardons hegseth.

If Trump pardons him, which he probably will, there needs to be some thought about sending Hegseth and his co conspirators to the ICC, which, b/c the US did not ratify the Rome Statue, might have to be via a referral by the security council.

If Trump pardons him, which he probably will, the opposition needs to start laying the groundwork for sending Hegseth and his coconspirators to the ICC, which, b/c the US did not ratify the Rome Statue, might have to be via a referral by the security council.

If Trump pardons him, which he probably will, you all in Congress need to start laying the groundwork for sending Hegseth and his co conspirators to the ICC, which, b/c the US did not ratify the Rome Statue, might have to be via a referral by the security council.

If my nephew’s ideas on immigration had been in force a century ago, our family would have been wiped out.

Agree Buckley was the original sin and Cit U was a logical (although not inevitable) next step. But it's never been clearer that if money equals speech the wealthy will always buy more of it, and the democratic and egalitarian ideal of free speech gets completely inverted

Well if RFK Jr is getting involved, Adams may be fucked.

The immigration line is garbage as well. Biden did not meaningfully change Trump border policy! Migration slowed down in '20 because COVID, then came roaring back. Biden made it very difficult for people to claim asylum at the southern border in ways that were probably illegal!

Respectfully why?
