My current university has a phenomenal library! Books are so important to me. The care & thought in how to house the books plays a large part in the worship of the word, don’t you think? The long corridors & vaulted ceilings, the stained glass, the rows of precious work stored on shelf after shelf!

Me too! I’m usually headily into it by the school holidays…but I’m feeling a bit wooden about it all today. Good that I can dump it here before I head down to make porridge for the eternally excited (children)!

That sounds lush! Huge cabbage fan!! Wine, mustard. That’s me! We made a makeshift thanksgiving meal tonight-A way of showing my parents how much we appreciate them & their friends. It was fun & jolly& a good start to the festive season:Turkey (crown) green beans, sweet potatoes& oodles of wine! Yum

M&S? Is it the best? I am a panettone snob…only Italian after my local pasta lab sold a Milano origin one that was phenomenal (c2017)! I could only afford one though. Lol!

My parents’ one looks just like that one, only red and black. It’s a 1960s one so an old girl. But I tell you it’s nice not to need preheating an oven! Lol!
