same thing happened in Nicaragua when Ortega lost his second term. He was later elected again, refuses to leave office (ever), punishes anyone (prison)who publicly disagrees with him, taken over private universities, has collapsed economy, and lashed out internationally isolating the country.

I’ve lived under these circumstances and had friends sentenced to crazy crimes with ridiculously long sentences for posting their opinion on social media or forwarding an email that spoke out. There are too many countries like this today! Are we next…

Sometimes I wonder if Republicans making ridiculous statements cover up a smile or walk away smiling, thinking “I can tell them anything and they’ll believe it!” I couldn’t say what Johnson says at times with a straight face.
