Every single time they tried to help Putin, they had to backtrack. Even Republicans still favour Ukraine over Russia, they just don't want to spend money on the war

The US is still a democracy. There are still a lot of power struggles in there, they simply can't credibly abandon Ukraine further
January 13, 2026 at 2:21 PM
It's not a good idea to let Ukraine fall and that's still a higher risk than the US annexing Greenland. Ukraine needs weapons and there are certain technologies that only the US can supply, we shouldn't be dragging their feet when they're the ones losing men
January 13, 2026 at 11:34 AM
Since when getting weapons from the US is a far-right talking point? They oppose EU rearming in general because that gets them points in the polls

The only people talking against buying US weapons are Europeanists, and those are all pro-Ukraine and dislike the far-right threat to the EU
January 13, 2026 at 12:33 AM
Only if we have the industrial capacity to do so, otherwise we're limiting Ukraine's options once again

Palestine Action is the group that invaded a naval base a few months ago

There are dozens of pro-Palestine groups in Europe and in the UK, I don't get why she goes to support this one in particular other than to make the headlines

I'm well aware of Rutte calling him daddy, and I despised it then and I do now, but it was a pure cynical move to keep him close

The EU has created a lot of initiatives and invested a lot recently to decouple from the US, but you don't catch up 30 years of no investment in 3. Ukraine needs guns now
December 21, 2025 at 6:49 PM
The plan B is to keep developing the European defence industry which doesn't appear magically. The US has systems we can't replace yet and Ukraine needs everything it can get its hand on

Trump can't stop this credibly either. The majority of republican voters and politicians are still pro Ukraine

December 11, 2025 at 11:14 PM
The flow of weapons is still happening thanks to the US, as they can have control in how the weapons they sell are used
December 3, 2025 at 10:40 PM
2/2 and I don't think Witkoff can find a solution. There's no middle ground, Russia has boycotted every peace initiative so far (bombing hospitals on an energy ceasefire), keeping its maximalist goals

Also, all Europe needs to do to collapse it is requiring Zelensky to meet Putin for the peace deal
December 3, 2025 at 10:36 PM
1/2 I just don't think he can credibly go out. The US now contributes little to Ukraine. The US even makes a profit from selling their weapons, there's no credible exit strategy

Then, both republican public opinion and politicians are majorly pro-Ukraine, he just can't
December 3, 2025 at 10:28 PM
Because regardless of what they think of Trump, they still need the US as their ally. As long as Europe keeps being dormant, the US will still be the biggest democratic superpower (at least for now)

What's the point of this? Isn't it normal for an old man to spend time with his grandkids? This is something that humanises him, so choosing this angle to attack him is weird at best. Some replies here are also disgusting

This is just an "orange man bad"

Really hope this guy stays in Russia after the elections in April

No prison, he needs to fully betray the Hungarians so no "politically motivated prosecution" discourse exists
November 28, 2025 at 12:07 PM
What does this have to do with the US?
November 28, 2025 at 12:03 PM
Chamberlain wanted time, not even peace. The UK was already rapidly rearming and he resigned with Chekoslovakia invasion

Witkoff wants favourable deals with Russia to get rich, while the current administration needs democratic collapse in Europe (Orbán and AfD funding). They want Russia to win
November 25, 2025 at 8:42 PM
The guy is obsessed with the Nobel prized, the administration needs Russia to win

Again, call his bluff out. The US has three things only as leverage, weapons selling (not donating), intelligence and sanctions

Even Republican voters and politicians are majority pro-Ukraine, he can't do anything
November 25, 2025 at 8:35 PM
Every two months, the same dance. He gets bored, tries to sell it out, internal pressure comes, he backs down

Again, this costs nothing for the US, we Europeans pay for the weapons, all they do is sanction and share intelligence

The only reason they do this is to sell Ukraine out

If it's not grounded in anything serious, then it's conjecture. If racism was the reason, then Obama would've never been elected. Sexism isn't either, far-right parties in Europe have women at the helm

Both Hilary and Kamala were deeply unpopular from the get go, it's as simple as that
November 15, 2025 at 8:15 PM
Exactly, they might catch some few dumb ones, but the actual networks are, unfortunately, run by somewhat smart people. Anonymity is key for people to properly whistle blow

The strongest weapon against pedophilia is rule of law as scrutiny is possible. Hungary recent scandals are a great example
November 13, 2025 at 10:07 AM
How is this even compatible with the EU laws? There's a strong framework on privacy and whistleblowing

Plus, pedos are less deterred from breaking the law as they'll go to prison regardless, so they'll just use an "illegal" private channel

And politicians excluded, lol (Epstein, Casa Pia, etc)

For a country that spends a considerable amount in defense to deter Russia, sending money to a country that is weakening Russia and acts as a buffer is the best deal one could find

But this is the party that was defending Orbán with its veto back then, so it's expected
