Beneath this, in smaller letters, it reads: ‘During restoration works, an artist is commissioned to paint portraits of volunteers at Fort Amherst. When the paintings are unveiled, each sitter’s reflection in the frame is slightly… wrong - older, thinner, wearing uniforms from centuries past.

The 101 night bus from the Pentagon Centre used to run until midnight - now it only appears when it’s foggy. Passengers say the driver never speaks, the ticket machine works without power, and those who ride all the way to the terminus at Capstone Valley are never seen again.’

Jess has recently finished her A Levels and is keenly waiting to join Swansea University in September to study Psychology. This makes Jess the perfect candidate to combine art and well-being and will be able to encourage some of our more nervous artists to join our lovely creative community.‘
