I don’t ever want to hear the words “Washington State University” come out of that man’s mouth again. He even admits he got coaches to follow him to Pullman with the hopes of going to Ames and then he had the gall to talk about loyalty when he was introduced at WSU. What a joke. #GoCougs

No doubt we can—and should—do better, but we could have had a $20 million NIL and Rogers still would have left. He was looking to leave for ISU before the ink was dry on his WSU contract. You don’t continually text an AD at another school during your season if you’re committed to where you’re at.

True. They have sports which neither OSU or WSU sponsor, but that’s always been the case. Heck, even the UW doesn’t have some of those sports. But had they stayed the Pac-12 would have been able to meet a lot of their needs. Oh well. The battle for the P12 title starts on Saturday. #GoCougs

Don't feel one bit sorry for a school that felt it was beneath it to remain in a conference with WSU and OSU so it signed up for cross country travel to be with "smart" schools like Duke. I "only" went to WSU, but it doesn't seem smart to base athletic decisions on perceived academic standing.
