An awesome New Years Eve with my wife in Lawrence KS. Our Jayhawks took an upset loss but the atmosphere was crazy!!! Love that place!!!

Update - so happy to report my bud is doing so much better! I said many prayers for him!! The vet had told me that nothing could be done for his back but somehow he gained his strength back. I know our time is limited but thankful to spend another Christmas with him!!

So many people complain about the price of rentals but try being the property owner. Not only do you have insurance, taxes, and loan payments but here is what some people choose to leave you with. I will say this is the minority but it is getting worse.

My buddy of 15 years has had a rough couple of days. Seriously thinking if he can just get better it would be the best Christmas ever!!

Simple use of a wasted space behind a front door. Something my wife and I did last year.

I found a beautiful old door at an antique store that we restored for our greenhouse. It was somewhere around 100 years old. I did not even realize it had engraving in it when we bought it.

We took the old front of a piano that the neighbor was wanting to take to the dump and made a table. This is the part that used to be the keyboard. For some reason it had 3 indentions we use resin and put in flower pedals.

Spent this summer building a natural greenhouse. All reused widows and as much reclaimed wood as possible. Set up with solar power and geothermal heat.

A 6 month project. Greenhouse is finally about completed!!
