To give credit to them, the onboarding experience was quite powerful, followed by the frustration of realising this is not like Arc, doesn’t have any of the useful features Arc would have and probably will not have any time soon.

I just don’t understand the logic behind abandoning a very useful and working product, moving on to a half-baked meh one with nothing to differentiate from other browsers and hoping it’ll get mass market adoption. Is this peak VC-backed brain?

Public libraries are not just for books, they provide a mixed array of resources and ways to access knowledge and help when needed. Internet is not a universal utility everyone has access to, even if it was, libraries would be a good accessibility option for times you lack the tools/means.
