Great question. I’m a big fan of a lot of queer history and literature (Burroughs, Samuel R Delaney, Isherwood, Baldwin, Woolf etc.) before or during Stonewall. I feel like it’s important to take in how queerness manifested in days when it was ostensibly suppressed enough to be made invisible.

Every time I see one of those “Doug Walker’s newest work is actually pretty good and the new vids are a lot funnier and insightful,” takes I think about the most recent Nostalgia Critic I watched, Top 11 Poorly Aged Bill Cosby Commercials, which is just him making rape and pedo jokes for 20 minutes
